
MMUST’s Prof. Peter Bukhala Appointed to International Symposium of Adapted Physical Activity Scientific Committee, 2027
We are pleased to announce that our Ag. Deputy Vice Chancellor for Planning, Research and Innovation, Prof. Peter Bukhala has earned a prestigious seat on the Scientific Committee for the International Symposium of Adapted Physical Activity (ISAPA). This appointment places Prof. Bukhala among a select group of global experts tasked with shaping the research agenda for the world’s premier forum on adapted physical activity. The Symposium will be held from 21st to 25th of June 2027 in Jordan.
In an official invitation to Prof. Bukhala, the ISAPA organizing body noted that his expertise and contributions in the field of Adapted Physical Activity would be invaluable in supporting the academic quality and scientific integrity of ISAPA. “We strongly believe that your participation will greatly enrich the Symposium and help us foster an environment of innovation, collaboration, and academic excellence,” read the letter.
As a member of the Scientific Committee, Prof. Bukhala will play a critical role in evaluating submitted research papers and abstracts, and providing guidance on the scientific program. In addition to this, he will also support the selection of keynote speakers and session themes, contributing to the promotion of high‑quality scientific dialogue.
ISAPA is the world’s premier biennial forum dedicated to the advancement of research, policy, and practice in the field Adapted Physical Activity (APA). Prof. Bukhala’s appointment to the 2027 biennial global conference highlights his expertise and elevates MMUST’s influence in the global discourse on adapted sports, rehabilitation and inclusive education.
