MMUST Engages Prospective Students at State House Girls’ Career Fair, Showcasing Its Academic Programmes and Opportunities
Masinde Muliro University of Science and Technology has showcased its diverse academic programmes and unique educational opportunities to Grade 10, Form 3 and Form 4 students. This was during the State House Girls’ High School Annual Career Fair, which took place on Saturday, 18th July, 2026 in Nairobi. The Fair brought together several institutions of higher learning, including Murang’a University of Technology, Africa Nazarene University, St. Paul’s University, University of Embu, Zetech University, Centre for Innovative Technology Ltd, as well as the Boma International Hospitality College.

The event provided an excellent platform for institutions to not only showcase their academic programmes to prospective students, but also guide them through admission requirements, scholarship options and potential career pathways. Throughout the day, the MMUST Marketing team engaged with eager students at the University’s exhibition tent. While some learners were already familiar with MMUST, many others learned about the institution for the first time, showing keen interest in enrolling after discovering its wide range of programmes.

The MMUST team present at the fair comprised Prof. Robert Egessa (Director of Career Services), Mr. James Muriithi (Marketing Officer), Ms. Terry Wanjau (Customer Care Assistant) and Mr. Kipkemoi Chebii (Research Assistant in the Office of the Deputy Vice Chancellor-Administration and Finance).

By participating in this career fair, MMUST has once again demonstrated its commitment to empowering the youth and inspiring students to pursue higher education. This engagement has undoubtedly strengthened the University’s recruitment efforts, laying a strong foundation for increased student enrollment.
