April 12, 2022, a team from Windle International Kenya paid a courtesy call to the Vice Chancellor. The purpose of the visit was to renew the Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between the two institutions. Windle International Kenya sponsors MMUST -International students from Kakuma refugee camp in Turkana. They currently have seven (7) students drawn from South Sudan, Sudan and Somalia under full sponsorship at the University.
The team from Windle International Kenya included Ms. Miyu Yabuta, Mr. Kasaya Bramwell and Mr. Isako Huka.
Speaking during the meeting, the Vice Chancellor Prof. Solomon Shibairo, appreciated the sponsors for choosing MMUST.
“We feel proud to associate with you. MMUST will certainly impact the livelihoods of these students for a change in the societies where they come from,” said Prof. Shiabairo.
The team was led by the Director, International and Academic Linkages Dr. Catherine Aurah who was accompanied by the Ag. Registrar Academics Prof. Thomas Sakwa.
