Office of the Registrar Planning Research and Innovation

Reporting to the Deputy Vice-Chancellor (Planning, Partnerships, Research and Innovation), the Registrar shall on the overall be responsible for the supervision and management of all administrative and operational functions of the Office of the Registrar (Planning,  Research and Innovations, including;

Research Coordination and Support:

Facilitate research activities within the college by connecting researchers, promoting interdisciplinary collaboration, and assisting with grant applications.
Manage research-related administrative processes, such as ethics approvals and research funding.


Innovation Initiatives:

Promote and support innovation across the college, particularly in teaching, learning, and research.
Collaborate with faculty, departments, and stakeholders to identify opportunities for innovation and the adoption of new educational technologies and methodologies.


Strategic Planning:

Contribute to the development and implementation of the college's strategic plan, focusing on areas related to academic growth, research excellence, and innovation.
Monitor progress toward strategic goals and provide input on adjustments as needed.


Data Analysis and Reporting:

Utilize data analytics to inform decision-making processes, track academic performance, and assess the impact of research and innovation efforts.
Prepare reports and presentations to communicate outcomes and recommendations.


Compliance and Quality Assurance:

Ensure that academic and research activities adhere to relevant regulations and quality standards.
Assist in accreditation processes, compliance reporting, and assessments related to academic and research programs.


Stakeholder Engagement:

Engage with various stakeholders, including faculty, students, alumni, and external partners, to gather input and support initiatives related to planning, research, and innovation.
Foster a culture of collaboration and innovation within the college community.


Professional Development:

Stay current with developments in higher education, research, and innovation through ongoing professional development, training, and participation in relevant conferences and associations.
