MMUST Emerges National Overall Winners of 16th Edition of the Kenya University Sports Federation (KUSF) Playoffs

Masinde Muliro University of Science and Technology (MMUST) won the 16 edition of the Kenya Universities Sports Federation (KUSF) national playoffs as it garnered the highest number of Gold medals in the championship. MMUST capitalized on the home advantage to scoop five gold, one silver, and one bronze medals in both men's and women's categories. The university hosted the games from 29 March to 31 March 2024.

Eight teams from MMUST qualified to represent the University and the Western Conference in the high-caliber event that brought together 33 Universities (both public and private). The teams faced off with various Universities to win many awards including: –

  1. Hockey men -Position 1
  2. Hockey women -position 1
  3. Volleyball men - position 1
  4. Volleyball women -position 1
  5. Soccer women-position 1
  6. Soccer men -position 3
  7. Handball women -position 2
  8. Basketball women -position 6.

We are proud of our young sportsmen and women for their impressive performances that have seen MMUST become the giants both regionally and nationally.
