Yesterday, 24th March 2022, Remigio Turyahabwe, MMUST’s International Student from Uganda successfully defended his PhD thesis during an Oral Defense organized by the Directorate of Postgraduate Studies headed by Prof. Stephen Odebero. The title of the thesis was 'Influence of Different Land Uses on Ecosystem Health of River Sironko Catchment in Eastern Uganda.'

Mr. Turyahabwe, who teaches at Busitema University, expressed delight to have finished his studies in good time.
“I learnt about MMUST through a number of my colleagues from Uganda who graduated from here. I have a passion for the applicability aspect of the conservation of water resources. This degree from MMUST will help me achieve this. MMUST is truly focused on academic excellence,” he said.
