University Health Services
The University Health Services Department provides medical services to staff and students. We also monitor trends of diseases and outbreaks within the university.
It is managed by a health team comprising of doctors, clinical officers, nurses and other health professionals and support staff in different sections of the department.
Some of the sections includes: health records, consultation, nursing, Pharmacy, laboratory and administrative sections.
Health services offered at the university clinic include:
- laboratory testing and treatment to common ailments and injury’s
- HIV care and Tuberculosis treatment
- Non-communicable diseases and chronic illnesses management
- Mother to child health and family planning
- Immunizations
- Emergency evacuations and ambulance transport.
- Referrals to specialized clinics and consultants
