Friday, 14th December, 2018 at the Graduation Square- Kakamega

Masinde Muliro University of Science and Technology (MMUST) wishes to inform all candidates who qualified for conferment of various Degrees and award of Diplomas and Certificates in the 2017/2018 Academic Year as well as members of the public that the 13th Graduation Ceremony will take place on Friday, 14th December, 2018 at the Graduation Square- Kakamega. The Graduands and Guests should be seated by 8.30am.

The following is pertinent information:

1. Clearance of Fees and Confirmation of the Graduation Status;
Only graduands who will have paid all the fees including graduation fees and presented their clearance forms to Finance Section by Wednesday 5th December 2018 will be allowed to graduate. The graduands may confirm their graduation status at their respective Schools or the University website before Wednesday 5th December 2018. The Graduation Fees shall be paid into the following MMUST bank accounts, Kakamega branches: Kenya Commercial Bank (KCB Account No. 1101922109, Equity Bank –Account No.50029463-6103, National Bank of Kenya (NBK) Account No.100307055-4000, Cooperative Bank of Kenya Account No. 112903399-9900, Barclays Bank of Kenya Account No.98086269, Family Bank Account No. 7800001-2655 and Standard Chartered Bank Account No. 102002-57-6500

2. Graduation Fees;
Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) - 8,000/=, Masters and Post Graduate Diploma (PGD) – 7,000/=, Bachelors - 6,500/= , Diploma
and Certificate -5,000/=.

Note:
• The academic regalia shall be collected from respective Schools at the Main Campus between Wednesday 5th to Wednesday
12th December 2018 and returned by latest Friday 21st December 2018. A penalty of Kshs. 500/= per day shall be levied from Monday 24th December 2018

3. Rehearsal;
Rehearsal shall take place at the Graduation Square- Kakamega on Thursday 13th December, 2018 beginning at 12.00noon. Graduands should be in full academic regalia and be seated by 11.00am.

4. Invitation Cards;
Two (2) invitation cards shall be issued to each graduand. The cards shall be collected from the respective Deans of Schools as from
Monday 3rd December, 2018.
